OTTO "O" RAGE 212

By popular demand, I wanted to deliver something not represented by the current lineup of cab packs from Otto Audio. I present "O" RAGE 212 a further exploration on the relationship of speakers and the cabinets they are housed in.  The same speaker in a different cab sounds & reacts quite different, which may be surprising to some.

"O" RAGE 212 is extra special sauce as it is loaded with Celestion™ Vintage 30's™ from 2001 (marked 1777 on the cone), which were originally made for Hughes & Kettner™.  From the golden age of Vintage 30's, I would describe these speakers as much clearer sounding, transparent top end, less nasal, while retaining all the mids & low end punch.  This cab pack sounds so good to my ears, it borders on false advertising.  Orange™ cabs just have such a unique & identifiable sound, it's no wonder they are so sought after & highly regarded.  Enjoy "O" RAGE 212!

Big Iron Transformed ™ - Power amps that imbue just the right amount of push, texture and harmonics are what make Otto IR's my favorite to play. Testing thoroughly 12 different power amps, I landed on the one that has "it".  I'll never tell which.

InteRvaled IR's ™ - I refused to stop with just accurate, or heavy - IR's must have clarity, articulation and sound pristine when playing power chords without congestion. Impact on chugs and separation when playing intervals is near top of the list of requirements when choosing a tone to play through or print to my session. How is this achieved? Fine tuning every part of the process and playing/testing by ear, then hand selecting each.

Limitless Phase coherency - Every position and mic was phase aligned to perfection for blending with each other at any position, blending with other minimum phase cab IR's. Mix, match & stack for towers of tone without getting messy.

Analog Mojo - You've heard it a million times, but there's a reason for it: analog just gives that warmth, life and something extra that makes audio feel organic - so I landed on running the capture process through Neve® imbued flavor, finely tuned and adjusted.

HOW TO USE: Load into any IR loader placed after an amp sim, use with an Amp di + load box, modeler etc.
